Visual Outlining: Free Craft Webinar with Optional Paid Critiques
With Chris Tebbetts
April 23 - May 13, 2020
Visual Outlining, with Chris Tebbetts
Thank you for joining us for Chris’s free webinar!
We’re making available 10 opportunities to receive a written critique from Chris. He will look at 10-12 pages (3000 words maximum) of a middle grade or young adult novel, preferably the first pages of the story. Otherwise, please send a very short (one or two paragraph) synopsis as part of your total submission. The critiques cost $75 and will be on a first come, first served basis. After these 15 are sold out, we will begin a waiting list that you may join.
Before you sign up for a critique, take a look at Chris’s bio below and think about whether he’d be a good “fit” for your manuscript. We’ll be hosting more of these sessions in the upcoming weeks and there will be more critique opportunities with others. Please visit this page to see our schedule for more 30 + 10 Craft & Critique sessions.
What to Expect From Your Critique
Our faculty will generously give notes on your project, including an overview on what’s working and questions they have on structure, content, or composition. In addition, feedback within the submission will be given through manuscript notes as necessary.
How to Submit Your Manuscript
Within 24 hours of registering for a critique session, you will receive an email with instructions on uploading your work. The faculty member will provide you with written feedback within 4-6 weeks. Please understand that challenges may mitigate this timeline, and we will be in direct contact with them and provide you with updates if there are any changes to the turnaround time.
