Pocono Believe 2025 — All Aboard!

The train to publication is all about onboarding. From industry professionals to gatekeepers, and from our readers to ourselves everyone needs to BELIEVE in our work. Whether you’re just getting started or you’re Published and Listed (PAL), gain steam for the journey at this year’s retreat. We’ll dig into our work in a way that builds faith in self and makes meaningful connections with others. All aboard!—as we make tracks to the Highlights Foundation.

While on the Highlights Foundation campus, there will be delicious, locally sourced meals, with snacks and beverages throughout the day. The Highlights Foundation campus has ample opportunities for walking, hiking, bird watching and gorgeous sunsets as the campus is surrounded by nature and farms.  This setting is sure to ignite your creativity and inspire you well beyond the retreat experience.

You may check into your lodging any time after 3pm on arrival day. If you arrive prior to 3pm, you may enjoy the grounds and various work and gathering places around the facility as your room is being prepared. The first meal on campus will be appetizers at 5:30pm and dinner at 6:00pm. If you arrive late, we can save dinner for you with advance notice.

Lunch on the final day of your stay is included, but we ask that you check out of your lodging by 11am. You are welcome to leave your packed bags by the door of your room/cabin while you enjoy lunch and say your goodbyes. Housekeeping may enter your room during this period to begin cleaning and prepping for our next guests.  Thank you for your consideration.

Please note that there are a few lodging options to choose from:

    1. Single-occupancy campus stay: includes lodging & meals on campus
    2. Double-occupancy campus stay: includes shared lodging & meals on campus (there are a limited number of double-occupancy rooms available. Please note that we will NOT be assigning roommates. When registering, you must select the lodging option that you prefer, increase the number of people in the room to 2, and input names and email address of both occupants of the room. Your cost will update to the total price for both guests, and you will be required to pay a deposit. Highlights Foundation will then contact you to ensure the remaining balance is split appropriately between both occupants.)
    3. Single-day: includes three meals on campus, April 26 & no lodging
