Optional In-Person Revision Retreat Intensive

Please note: To register for this optional retreat you must be registered for the online Revision Retreat Course. Please read on for how the courses work together to enhance your revision experience.

OVERVIEW:

In-person 5-Day/4-Night Working Retreat

• This is an in-person experience paired with the online Revision Retreat intensive.
• There will be time to view daily sessions with Eileen and Harold, work on your own stories, connect with fellow creatives, and relax.
• Lodging and meals are included.
• Begins at 5:30pm Eastern on Sunday, September 11
• Ends at 1:00pm Eastern on Friday, September 16
• 16 participants max (please note that you must be registered with the Revision Retreat online course in order to secure this experience.)

WHY THIS RETREAT?

If you want an experience outside your own home while you engage in the week-long Revision Retreat intensive (September 11 – 16), this getaway offers just that for you. Every accommodation option includes a personal workspace, and you’ll find various spaces around the grounds to get work done or take a nature walk if you need a change of pace or some inspiration. All meals will be prepared for you during your time at the retreat center.

With streaming options you can engage in the live sessions as you wish: either in the comfort of your own accommodation or in shared spaces with fellow Revision Retreat workshoppers. ABOUT OUR RETREAT CENTER:

This retreat is held at our Retreat Center: The Barn at Boyds Mills.  This site was the home of the original founders of Highlights for Children Garry and Caroline Myers, and is located in the Poconos Mountains of Pennsylvania on the traditional and contemporary lands of the Lenape Nation.

Your retreat fee includes lodging, farm-fresh meals with snacks, and shuttle service from our local airport or bus/train stations if you need it.  For more information about attending a workshop or retreat here, visit the Barn at Boyds Mills website.
