CAT Agency Retreat

Come join us at Highlights Foundation campus for a CAT Agency Creative Retreat!!

This 2-day retreat is an opportunity to gather with your CAT colleagues, and rest, connect, and create! You have the opportunity to make this a 3-day retreat, and arrive on Nov 5 — that is an option you may decide upon registration, or even later on if space permits!

We will have a loose, attend-if-you’d-like agenda, including presentations given by our Agents (and possibly some of you!), writing critique groups, portfolio reviews, brainstorming sessions, and more!

You’re also welcome to use this retreat to simply get away. You are free to enjoy the beautiful surroundings as you work on current projects – or to step away from current projects to rest, relax, or hike! It’s up to you.

There will be delicious, locally sourced meals, with snacks and beverages throughout the day. This retreat will be a low-key time to connect and ground us as a group. The Highlights Foundation campus has ample opportunities for walking, hiking, bird watching and gorgeous sunsets, as the campus is surrounded by nature and farms. This setting is sure to ignite your creativity and inspire you well beyond the retreat experience.

Lodging options are first-come, first-serve. And, there is the option of adding one extra day before your retreat, arriving on Nov. 5, 2024. (Please contact us for assistance at support@highlightsfoundation.zendesk.com if you plan to have a roommate. You may check into your lodging any time after 3pm on arrival day. If you arrive prior to 3pm, you may enjoy the grounds and various work and gathering places around the facility as your room is being prepared. The first meal on campus will be appetizers at 5:30pm and dinner at 6:00pm. If you arrive late, we can save dinner for you with advance notice.

Lunch on the final day of your stay is included, but we ask that you check out of your lodging by 11am. You are welcome to leave your packed bags by the door of your room/cabin while you enjoy lunch and say your goodbyes. Housekeeping may enter your room during this period to begin cleaning and prepping for our next guests. Thank you for your consideration.

Car Service Information:

Shuttle service from the Highlights Foundation is available to some area airports and bus stations. You may read more about this service on our Getting Here page).

There is also free parking on site if you drive.

Cancellation Policy:
You are welcome to cancel your registration and receive a full refund up to 30 days before the start of your retreat. Cancellations made 7-29 days in advance will incur a fee equivalent to 15% of total retreat cost. Cancellations made within one week of retreat start will incur a fee equivalent to 30% of total retreat cost. No cancellation fee if cancellation due to a medical or family emergency.
