The historic farmhouse dates back to the late 19th Century when it was used as a dormitory for the workers who ran the sawmill below the house. In the 1940’s, when Garry & Caroline Myers decided to move into the home full-time and start Highlights magazine, the house was remodeled. Though the house has been updated over the years to include improved heating and private baths for each bedroom, the accommodations are still very much like they were when Garry and Caroline lived here. Experience a piece of history by staying in the house where Highlights magazine first started! There are two bedrooms downstairs, each with a queen bed. Enjoy access to the living room, library, dining room, kitchen and large screened in porch.
